Alair Homes – Hope Union Bar Rd, Hope, BC

This Ankora Retaining Wall was constructed on a residential property off Union Bar Road in Hope, B.C. This project presented a unique challenge due to the limited excavation space between the existing building and the steep hillside behind it. A traditional MSE retaining wall was not feasible, as it would have required cutting into the hillside to accommodate geogrid reinforcement. Ankora provided the ideal solution, allowing for a stable, space-efficient design without the need for extensive excavation.
