This property sat untouched for six years because of the narrow space wedged between the two properties. The unique challenge of this project was constructing a retaining wall on a narrow, elevation-changing site. A traditional MSE retaining wall would limit the usable space due to the geogrid reinforcement. An Ankora wall was able to be constructed tight to the neighboring property lines and maximized the square footage of the property due to the unique design with no geogrid reinforcement or interference with underground utilities. Ankora made it possible for 8 homes to be built right on top.
