Created with the environment in mind
Ankora was created out of a desire to construct a modular block retaining wall system that achieved the maximum possible height with the least amount of excavation, reducing installation time, saving money, and minimizing impact to the environment.
Redefining Environmental Excellence
The Ankora Retaining Wall System minimizes environmental impact by reducing excavation, limiting imported fill, utilizing native soils, and eliminating geogrid. It maximizes usable land, retains vegetation, and offers optimal seismic performance.
Going Green
Ankora prides itself on being an environmentally friendly product. By utilizing native backfill and reducing the amount of imported fill, Ankora significantly reduces the carbon emissions produced during construction.
The traditional segmental block retaining wall exceeding 10′ (3.048 m) in height requires the extensive use of soil replacement with geogrid reinforced imported granular backfill.
By minimizing excavation and the trucking required to remove native soil and bring in imported fill, the Ankora Retaining Wall optimizes the environmental sustainability of the retaining wall construction.
