There are two Ankora Retaining Walls located on this stretch of road. The first wall was constructed along a hillside to make room for a multi-use pathway. The second wall was constructed in a ravine to stabilize the road to accommodate road widening. Ankora Retaining Wall System was best suited for this project because there is no interference with the underground utility lines for neighboring homes, does not require as much excavation as a traditional retaining wall would and reduces the amount of exported material.
