Ankora was best suited for this project because of its unique and environmentally green-friendly design. This property is on a hillside and is getting developed into a community of single-family homes. There was a total of four separate walls constructed tight to the hillside with a road weaving in between. The retaining wall not only stabilized the hillside but made the bottom of the hill safe to develop for future housing plans. There was no concern with utility lines as Ankora does not use geogrid in its design. It also meant significantly reducing the excavation, that would have been required using a traditional retaining wall. The wall located on the city property could not get an encroachment agreement, Ankora was the best solution.
