Ankora wall was constructed alongside the industrial property due to the confined excavation from the building foundation. The hillside needed to be stabilized due to the sidewalk to the right side of the wall. There was minimal room for excavation because of the new building and underground utilities.
A traditional retaining wall would not have met requirements and must be built outwards to accommodate for geogrid, taking up room for the sidewalk. The Ankora retaining wall system was built right up to the property line without any interference with underground utilities or worry about encroachment.
